A moc that only exists because I have two Ackar helmets and am legally insane

My goal for this moc was to see how much i could get away with that by all rights should not work.

HF legs as shoulders? Check. Star Wars gearbox covers as feet? Check. A neck design that would get me banned from civilized society? Check.

Yes, those legs do bend, as does his torso.

Obligatory Nyran shot (who else still remembers that?) so you can see that i am truly a madwoman.

And there you have it. As usual, any comments, criticisms, complaints, or cobras are welcome!

While most of the moc is obviously…odd…I think if placed on a more bestial body, that head could really work.

There’s definitely some creative techniques at work here. I particularly like the way the Hero Factory legs are held in place in the torso.

Am I seeing it correctly that the neck is held in place by a ball joint in between two pin holes?

Well, sorta. Yes, that’s how it is connected, but there’s also a bit of friction from the HF legs pushing on the ball joint as well (not stressing the pieces, it just happens to contact). It actually makes a big difference – if you pull the shoulders apart, the neck won’t support the weight of the head, but in the natural position it’s only slightly looser than a socket and holds the head just fine.

These are awesome photos of your MOCs.

Neat.

I also meant to say before that I also really like the use of the blaster pieces in the legs.
