Akahniki is a Vortixx and a former nomad. She wandered the wilderness of the sothern islands, before she settled down in a matoran village and befriended their toa protector. She carries an underslung blade and Kanoka disk launcher for protection.
This moc started out me trying to make a custom feminine torso build, that ended up turning into a vortixx. As you do. The final moc is very much inspired by Roodaka.
Bonus: The toa she befriended, Hotoke the toa of ice. Hotoke means winter or cold in Maori. He is a regular toa Metru build with some modifications to make him more posable. His mask is a medium blue custom Volitak I bought from Buyusforge on Etsy (although I don’t think its on their store anymore).
well, onto the moc now. i don’t know how i feel about the exaggerated female charteristics, although that’s present on many mocs. it’s a solid color layout, with a very g1 feel to it, almost like a advanced canon contest winner. bonus toa is nice too, although i don’t have much to say about it. overall, great mocs!
