My wife and toddler were away for a couple of days, so I took the chance to create a new Bionicle transformer! This is not actually the first one I made since my son was born in 2024. I did make one the summer of this year, but I haven’t posted it on here yet.
A helpful dude on Bionicle Maskposting gave the names for these MOCs. The humanoid form of the transformer is partly inspired by the Ares program from Tron: Ares (also I get Yautja vibes from this mask).
Where does the rider go during the transformation? Is it incorporated into the larger figure?
this works suprisingly well! i’m seen a lot of ‘bioformers’ and this has to be in the top 5! rider kind of melds together with all that black though, maybe a color change is in order?
Nah, that would be cool though! The rider just stands next to him when in humanoid form.
@kawaii_kitten thanks! Glad you like it. I am always pretty pleased with myself whenever I create a bioformer which can actually roll and their humanoid form still looks decent.
I like that their colour schemes match but I totally get your point. Maybe gun-metal grey would look nice.
