Here’s the thing about Amiibo. They’re cool, small statues that can give you a cool play pal, a character skin, and so on and so forth. What I don’t like is the excessive amount of love they receive, even though we have something similar with the World of Nintendo line (Which doesn’t have as many licenses, but has some pretty good looking figures)

I wanted to get into amiibo.

But the only characters I care about are now overpriced or out of stock!!

The Shovel Knight Amiibo is a ray of hope for me. It means Nintendo is allowing other companies to manufacture them… hopefully these 3rd party amiibo will actually stay in stock.

Since it is the first year anniversary of amiibo I decided to post my collection, currently I own all the smash amiibo(excluding famicon R.O.B) and light blue yarn Yoshi, retro Mario, toad, and Tom Nook. To another year of amiibo!

Is amiibo, dying? People have been looking at their shelves and seeing them on clearance like their the new Bionicle.
I can understand it’s due to overstocking demand awhile back, but Nintendo really need to do something revolutionary with a game that combat all amiibo interaction or it will end up like Disney Infinity.
