Anime Discussion your thoughts and opinions on any anime

I’m really pleased with this summer season thus far. There’s more Gatchaman, Little Witch Academia, Animator Expo short films and Miss Monochrome. In addition, you have Ufotable not doing a Type-Moon adaptation and a couple of shows that have no right being as good as they are, namely Shimoneta and Gakkou Gurashi. And there’s that new Mamoru Hosoda film.

points to monster musume

It’s pretty much the manga without the nipples, and that’s fine. Suu best girl

Only the second movie of Gurren Lagann is worth watching, cause of the extended act 2 stuff and the ending. First movie can be skipped with no real loss. Watching the series is worth it.

I’ve taking a liking spice and wolf and baccano

Just watched spirited away last night.
I had watched when I was a kid, but I was super spooked back then. Now I see it as it truly is, one of my favourite movies.

I used to watch soul eater and one piece during my tween years, though most anime makes me cringe for some reason these days
(with the exception of the Miyazaki movies I’ve seen)

One of my friends really likes Tokyo Ghoul, Space Dandy, and Cowboy Bebop.

Spirited Away is the best-looking Ghibli film imo. And if you enjoy Hayao Miyazaki I’m sure you will enjoy Mamoru Hosoda as well.

Go watch Redline with your friend, and maybe Gurren Lagann.

Ghibli movies are their own genre outside the regular anime terminology. They deserve their own classification.

Let’s think about it for a moment: do they really?

Why even stop to think about it, its an instant yes.

I don’t see anyone benefiting from a specific term for Ghibli films. If there’s any point in there, do tell me: I’d love to hear your reasoning.

One Punch Man hype.

They are not anime, they are Ghibli, even Miyazaki said todays Japanese animation is bad to say it nicely here cause I cant curse (cause thats how he said it, and he is sorta right for most anime, not all of them).
