Animusic

Animusic was a company founded in 1995 by Wayne Lytle. It is infamous for its CGI MIDI-based music videos, all of which are extremely different (-Pipe Dream 1/2) and lack any sign of humans or vocals, the music being played by various robotic instruments. An example is shown here, the first track of the first of the two DVDs released. Your opinions?

Greatest music animations ever. I have Animusic and Animusic 2 on DVD.

I’ve heard that they’re working on Animusic 3.

I watched it at my school once and it sounds great.

Ah yes, Animusic. How much I have missed thee in recent months.

I remember when something was making the rounds claiming that Pipe Dream was a real-life machine (a year or so later, I found a video of an actual real-life Pipe Dream device, but that’s another story).

My favorite video (of the ones I’ve seen) would have to be Resonant Chamber, since it looks like a team of spiders (and perhaps birds) that decide to fiddle-around with somebody’s fiddle.

My favorite of all of them would have to be Heavy Light. For some reason, I think it has a Bionicle-esque feel to it. Island of Mata Nui feel. Probably because it looks like a normal old structure, but is actually something much more.
