Another Three Immoral Kanohi Ideas.

Hello I had some more immoral Kanohi ideas that I would like to hear your opinions on.

First is the mask of damage transfer while this mask could be used to take the pain from others it is more infamous for transferring damage to an opponent during combat. This isn’t a mask of healing so any injuries will remain but the one who had their pain removed will feel well enough to be able to use an injured limb again. It would have no effect on mental blasts and similar attacks since they cause no damage and this isn’t a mask of pain transfer. While this could work on poison or a disease it wouldn’t remove it but it can stop them from spreading.

Next is the mask of chained spirits. This mask is sort of like an immoral version of the Kanohi iden with a kanohi Tryna mixed in. The user summons spiritual like entities of the dead. It varies whether the spirits resemble the nearby dead or the spirits of those killed by the user. They do not retain any memories or powers and like the Kanohi iden user they can’t really interact with others. These spirits would be slightly visible and be able to be heard if they are very close so they are a bit closer to an intangible being than a spirit like a Kanohi iden user.

They act like scouts for the user due to a mental link sending back information and they can be given orders as wells. These spirits cannot possess spiritless living beings or robots. However they can possess corpses. They cannot use the corpses’ powers but they can use any kind of sense they have as well as physiological forms of locomotion. However the tradeoff is they are no longer able to fly like they used to, be intangible, or have the stealth capabilities they once had. A spirit would be unaffected by a destroyed body however if it tried to repossess the corpse it would need to physically pull together as it can’t reassemble itself like the reanimated of a Kanohi Tryna.

The next one is based on an alternative Kanohi Mohtrek idea I had. The mask of chronal copies. The user makes copies of themselves based on the choices they didn’t make. These copies are not pulled from alternate timelines but are the choices that never could have formed a timeline. They cannot make copies of their own since that choice has been made already. While the copies can use the same power as the user there would always be a slight difference.

If they all aimed a power like laser vision on a insectoid rahi each one would hit a different leg or part of a leg with no two hitting the same spot. The user would not be physically affected by the destruction of the copies. However when they are destroyed or the mask is deactivated the user will inherit the memories of the copies since they lack timelines of their own to return to. This can be disconcerting due to having memories of injuries that haven’t happened to them and feeling they need to make sure they aren’t injured. It can be especially traumatic if the copy died. The user can tell the difference between a copy’s memory and their own. Due to them focusing on the present during combat this downside will not hinder their combat capabilities.

I could have made new immoral mask ideas based some past ideas. Such as a beam based aspect of a Kanohi Felnas to keep them from getting caught in a disrupted power. Or the idea of a mask of undeath user being able to use that absorbed life energy while the user is still alive to keep them going despite any none fatal injury or ailment they may be suffering.

So what do you think of these three immoral Kanohi ideas?

The first two feel a little overpowered.

With the first one, it seems to me like damage immunity that also damages opponents, so someone could win by doing nothing. Luigi time?

With the second, perhaps there could be a time limitation on how long ago these spirits could be summoned from. Or, perhaps they are able to be unwilling to work with the summoner depending on the circumstances of their deaths? Either way, just summoning minions with no consequences who can posess the dead and can also do everything the Iden can seems like a lot of powers for one mask.

I’m not really sure how to feel about the Mohtrek idea, so I’ll just put that down as “no opinion”.

Well it is not damage immunity since the user can still lose body parts or be fatally damage so they can be injured to the point of being incapacitated and killed but it would take a lot of damage. Plus if they have nobody around they can’t get rid of the pain of the damage.

The spirits are not that unstoppable since they could lose the element of stealth if they are found out and they won’t be able to attack back if they don’t have a corpse to possess. I guess I can add the idea of the spirit is dispersed if the corpse they are in is completely destroyed. Also it is technically not the spirit of the dead being used but more like using any remaining essence of the dead to make a hollow copy of them. Kind of like a rhotuka or the shadow version of a being, both are the essence of a being manifested but it is not exactly them either. And unless they have killed before like a Kanohi Tryna user they need nearby corpses to use this power. I guess sense based attacks or effects could indirectly affect the user of this power due to the link they would have to the spirits.
