During the years I tried making my own masks ( with varying results).
So the experimentetion starts about 2 years ago when I used paper mache built up from an inika head and then removed
I think the foam is working better. I like how you made a comic book style Ignika. And hey, that paper mache isn’t a bad first attempt, given what the professionals made.
I say keep it up. Did you think about how to attach the mask to a head?
I’ve tried a lot of option and I found 2 that work.
The first is simple: glue an axle to the back trimming it if it is to long. The other one includes casting one out of hot glue by inserting an axle into a piece of pottery clay(probably works with every non meltable clay ) then removing it and filling the hole left by injecting hot glue in the hole and then as soon as the glue cools down you remove it (don’t let the clay dry because it’s easier to remove the piece and you can reuse the clay.
And you could use sticky tack/blue tack but I think that it would be kind of cheating.
