Beach Cake

I don’t know if anyone remembers, but last year I made a birthday cake for my mom. I did the same this year, using everything I’ve learned about baking in the last year. What resulted was, perhaps, the best cake I’ve ever made. What do you guys think?

Plus, for those curious, here was the progress

Wow this is so cool, great job, looks all round really good it’s instantly recognisable as a beach

Looks beautiful and delicious! I’m curious how you made the water.

Surely next time you make a similar cake add green rice and stuff for plants…then add something washed up on the beach…

The water is gelatin, right?

You don’t see things like this often on the boards…

It looks really cool! What are all of the parts made of?

the sponge and other individual components look really great, although the end result is slightly messy. What is the flavor/flavors?

The beach section itself is just a plain vanilla with vanilla iscing. The cliffs are red velvet, and have chocolate icing, which also coats the edges

Out of curiosity, what’s messy on it?

@Axelford @TheChronicler @Atobe_Brick Thank you! The water is just a blue jello, which, as you can see by my wip pictures, was an absolute pain to get working
