Beren and Luthien

“Again she fled, but swift he came,
‘Tinuviel, Tinuviel!’
he called her by her elvish name
and there she halted, listening.”

My favorite LOTR song, it comes directly from Tolkien’s heart. I also liked reading about their adventures in the Silmarillion.

I don’t know John Ronald Reuel Tolkien’s lore very well, but I’m assuming there’s a story reason why there are white spots in her hair?

clever way to avoid drawing eyes :smirk:

It’s either flowers or a decorative hairnet.

Presumably because of this part of the verse:
“And light of stars was in her hair,
And in her raiment glimmering.”

The hair really looks like a starfield.

now that you mention it, it does resemble a galaxy with stars. I mean this could be due to magic or maybe a art style? I don’t know. honestly I would like to know why @Sabretooth designed the character that way. I am just curious.

It’s described in the song that they originate from in Fellowship of the Ring that “light of stars was in her hair”
