Are those mottled skull spiders?
Skateboarding Spider-Martian assaults skeleton carrying precious cargo. Meanwhile a spider and scorpion watch from the sidelines.
nothing will top skateboarding skeleton and you know it
I concede you’re correct
Some joints are very stiff, some are loose, claws barely hold to the hands and feet, overall a trypical russian “ALiiEeeEN”
Weird. apparently the russian knockoffs like to make transperant colors out of dark colored joint pieces, weird pattern
Are the joints as fragile as the legit ones?
Whoah! Trans AvToran limbs?! Gimme some of those!
I don’t know. I know enough transformers and bionicle that I wouldn’t trust joints from that time period made out of clear / transparent and that’s not even mentioning the bootleg part.
probably even worse
Considering it’s a bootleg it’s not probably; it’s definitely. I’m sure there’s a reason we only ever got the upper limb in clear colors and even then it stopped pretty quickly in place of solid plastic.
Not sure actually, they didn’t crack rightaway and look thicker than the remolded ones, only some experimentation would be able to say. Visorak head in the background is also from a bootleg, but a very old one. Back in the days they used the bionicle and lego logo freely.
My old Iruni bootleg, bought I think in 2006-7.
There was a few year period when I only saw bionicle fakes in shops, but not the official sets.
He’s not even gold! The shield is the only gold part and the armor is some kind of dirty yellow.
EDITED FOR DOUBLE TRIPLE POST - Spiderus Prime
Mata Nui what is that gold. Why would they do that to my boy Iruini.
Wow. How did that happen
I call it “vomited gold”
It’s cuz I’m in russia, I remember official sets appearing a year or two late here. So when you had 2006, I still had 2004-5 for example and it was really hard to find them for a kid. While bootlegs were avalible in a lot of grocery stores even (They still kinda are). Back when they were all chinese and actually used the bionicle brend and logo.
Ok then thats understandable.
i want to visit your country more and more by the day
I wouldn’t say that the poor quality bootlegs worth the trouble my friend.
That looks like some sort of Green Bay Packer Toa but poorly executed.
The bin with old bootleg parts, it smels VERY toxic. I tried to place it out on a balcony for about half a year with open cap, nope, still toxic.
Here you can see something rare
3 piraka foot, 2 on the left are bootlegs, one on the right is the real one.
The brown fake looks surprisingly better quality than the black fake also it’s a unique recolour, they up the wrong feet design for Avak…
Here you can closely examine the difference of 2 bootlegs’ molding.
