How do people let these into stores

“you mean i can sell these much cheaper sets instead of having to order those much more expensive products from LEGO? SIGN ME UP!!!”

im betting that could be the most likely reason

More commonly, though, I suspect the situation is as follows:
“Hey, these look nice. And much better quality than a lot of other stuff I could sell.”
I’m willing to bet that most of the people selling these in stores haven’t heard of the originals.

actualy i think they do know about the sets that the bootlegs are based on, but they just don’t care, its the “kids won’t tell the difference” type of mentallity.

that, or they themself don’t know the difference betwine a bootleg and the actual toy, to the store owners its probably more of one toy cost less to order than the other, but other than that they think that both are of the same quality as the actual LEGO products.

Are they bootlegs? Or just “Compatible Products”?

I spotted these at an Asian store during my weekend in Canada:

I didn’t have my camera on me, so these are all from the internet. THe “Space Wars” bootlegs I saw were the Vulture droid and another Separatist ship. I also saw the Hero Factory bootleg “Flyer Beasty VS. Breez”

I wonder if these are based on actual Iron Man sets.

Also a rift in the space time continuum dropped this:

“I am Groot.”

It’s interesting that they made that one armor thing from Avengers and his workshop.

I had some pictures of monstrosities saved but I can’t find them

If I do they’re coming here ASAP

Where’d you find that?! (And why didn’t Lego release Melum and Kopaka seperately so we could get that Shadow Trap? That might have made back a couple more sales.)
