Perhaps, it would have been better if they attached to him sideways, instead of flat like they do.
Although, functionality/practicality would be pretty weird.
I feel like they won’t all have secondary elements. I just don’t like the idea of that. Like I said before, perhaps Gali was charging up her elemental energy. It’s like the energy stuff that surrounds the Mask of Creation.

I dunno how many here are Zelda fans, but the image of Pohatu riding around on his Jetarangs reminds me of Twilight Princess’s Spinner item for some reason.
