Very good work! I like that Lewa 2016 cannot fly (because it is no longer Toa of Air). It seems more logical, I think.
Is that true? He still has his whirling blades, right? I thought I once read a store advertise them as like, propellers or something… Could be wrong though.
Well, he’ll have flight powers because of Uxar either way, so it’s all good.
Where did you get that info? I don’t recall reading that Lewa will no longer fly on his own anywhere.
Lewa still retains his flying powers, he just also controls jungle at the same time.
yes…
I take it you haven’t watched the animations.
Lewa can fly just fine.
Makes little sense to retcon that.
hey i was now just thinking, if Umarak makes an appearances in the new book, there might be a possible chanse that his personality will be portraied differently from the two mediums.
Is something to keep in mind, especialy since we don’t know if the book writer have any contact with the writers of the Netflix show.
Have to admit it, Umarak indeed is probably the best G2 set. He is almost as (if not as) big to qualify as a Titan set. Size aside, his design is amazing, and the mask is pure beauty, loos like a mask of s deranged psychopath that never calms his bloodthirst…umm heh…
I just realized that Umarak’s mask… isn’t smiling. It has no mouth. The part that looks like a mouth is actually just bark growth, like on his upper forehead and his chest printing. That’s… whoa.
Wait… maybe the mouth on his chest really IS his mouth.
I never saw a smile/mouth. More or less Umarak’s mask looks like chunks of rock with crude slits for eyes.
Umarak review is out on Eurobricks. This set is a lot better than I thought it was. I reaaaaally like him now. I NEED HIM.
That MoCo doesn’t look bad either, AND it can still fit on Umarak despite his antlers.
I found this interesting passage about a Wendigo (what I think that Umarak is based off of) on Wikipedia, that might solve this whole dispute on Umarak’s “mouth”.
“The Wendigo was gaunt to the point of emaciation, its desiccated skin pulled tautly over its bones. With its bones pushing out against its skin, its complexion the ash gray of death, and its eyes pushed back deep into their sockets, the Wendigo looked like a gaunt skeleton recently disinterred from the grave. What lips it had were tattered and bloody. Unclean and suffering from suppurations of the flesh, the Wendigo gave off a strange and eerie odor of decay and decomposition, of death and corruption.”
So apparently…you CAN make the Umarak shadow trap, meh, I probably will do it one time for the lols, but won’t keep it that way. Umarak would look incomplete, however…he would look like Maxilos holding spinax!
And…Kopaka has stickers again…on the shield…sigh. Welp at least it will look a bit more interesting.
@Fenrr Lego, it means Lego.
