Did you really have to say this? Seriously?

I really hope that the winner of the contest is not a gigantic bulk that is big just for being big. And its an actual set that you could actually seeing buying that has an actual mobility and had some kind of play value, because. thats how its fun.

Honestly, I just want the little villager makootie.

It is ungodly simple. Just make a generic protector, throw those spikes on its shoulder, paint a Tahu 2015 mask black, and then it is done.

(I could probably do it if I honestly cared…)

I have a feeling that we’ll get a big Makuta box set where we can build mask maker Makuta, JtO Makuta, overlord Makuta and the other Makuta.

That’s pretty harsh man. Spite? I would be more understanding if you said something along the lines of ‘spite people that don’t have enough pieces and complain about it’; there’s no need to be bitter to those who might not have as much as you. Doing what you said makes the contest a question of parts, when it should be about skill.

Just for the heck of it I’ll enter my Protector sized Makuta (Mask Maker form) just to see how it holds up, I did build something, but honestly we all know how this contest will end, so I won’t take it seriously.
So I’d rather use my pieces for an original MOC of mine than a Makuta form that we already got far too many back in the Villain contest, which we all know how it went down.

I think it’s worth doing so, at least you’ll be entered into the draw for the art book.

Honestly, there’s always a chance that a relatively small, awesome looking moc will blow the big ugly ones out of the water. If that were to happen, it would only prove the “they only like big mocs and it’s not fair” people wrong. You have to admit that Lego probably won’t choose something by merit of its size. Buying more pieces might not necessarily be an advantage at all.

What nobody knows it that the makuta I will enter is secretly a mic of a villain I have been planing to do MUAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA… Wait, ¡You didn’t heard anything!

LEGO values creativity above all. So I would wager the best looking, most creative MOC would have the best shot.

We dont even know the rules for this contest yet given that it hasn’t even started. I originally thought this contest would start in august after the current ninjago one ends, and it does. There arnt any rules yet, so we dont know if there will be limitations of any kind.

Here’s what I’m going to do. I’m gonna make the most adorable little Makuta moc and I’m gonna make it look really good. How’s that for spite?

Well, I dunno if adorable would work, we will have to wait and see.

I’d just build it solely for the sake of being small.

I agree. All this discussion about what’s fair/how LEGO should judge/what they should value/etc. really takes away from the spirit of the contest. In the end, whatever MOC is chosen will undoubtedly be good, as LEGO has never chosen a poorly-made creation in the past, whether it used a large amount of pieces or not.

Bottom line, if you feel up to it, enter the contest. If not, then don’t. Saying that the contest is unfair–whether you participate or not–doesn’t help anybody.

I think I might enter the contest just for fun. This would be my first LEGO contest, and also my real first attempt at a BIONICLE/TECHNIC MOC.
