Steering it back to Netflix.
The skeptic in me is thinking it will be a compilation of the animations of this year, but if it turns out to be completely new Ill be happy. If it is new I hope we get some high quality 2d animation. Something on par with Avatar or Samurai Jack would be a dream come true.

Well, let’s be honest: the animations have high quality.
Then again, my idea of quality is a pile of muaka dung posing as steak.

Seriously, i doubt that they would try that, we don’t know how big the budget is for this show, so i am not going to give my self high hopes. i will most likely just find it cool when i see it. But for now, it might as well be a late April fools joke on the fans.
then it might be just a collection of the animation videos, because that is the basic plot of the year one story (give or take) or to be fair, what every one in the begining of the animation said.
Hoping they use either the sort of cgi they used for Bionicle gen 1, or something akin to what they did with The Lego Movie.
And if they do stopmotion and cgi (I assume) like the lego movie did, they should use actual places in the world to take the photos.
On the other hand, they better not use the 2015 animation or the G1 movie animation.

And LoSS can be attached on his back like the Toa’s Creatures
I wouldn’t mind if they did it in the same style as they did the Bionicle commercials. I thought the commercials had pretty epic animations.

why for the love of Mata Nui do anyone want to see computer animated versions of the toys… Just…Why? it looks dumb, and if LEGO would want to make a good series, i don’t think making a show where the characters are just the toys moving around,
and don’t bring in Ninjago or Chima here, because that is different.
i mean, if you guys did want that, then it would just look like this

Well, 2d could look better to some people, but it depends on preference, really. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with cgi animation.
