I don’t think it would be very fair if you had to buy all 6 sets to complete the MOUP
Any idea on how Makuta will look? I hope for the winter sets we get a Mask Maker version of Makuta with his Mask of Control similar to his 03 version with either Ekimu or Tahu or Takanuva (If he appears)
What if we got titan Makuta and Mask Maker Makuta in the same set?

Like, I mean that they have them both so you can have both figures, but not in the same timeline.

QDidn’t I make a similar topic on my other account? Ah who cares no one was using it!So I think we’ll have final toa,some little helper guys, and a semi-big bad to fight. Then in summer well have a Titan makuta with updated reliable minions(LOSS, SG) and some new ones. That’s my prediction at least.

I would love to see a flashback like we did in G1. Or just something different, different Toa, different villians (well that’s for sure I guess)

There’s a Prophecy of Heroes to summon heroes in times of need.
What would happen if there was a Dark Prophecy, which Makuta and his minions could chant to call evil beings from the stars?

I think this is wishful thinking…but I’m not sure Bionicle is a big theme that can survive like it did in G1. I don’t think kids are into it as much this time around, of course, I don’t know for sure…I personally don’t like that the 2016 sets are a little more difficult to find whereas 2015 they were literally everywhere (each store stocked them…now a lot of them I can only find online or at TRU). I dunno, I do hope I’m wrong, it’d be nice to get new characters and maybe a more complex story…but I get the feeling 2017 is the true end, this is not based off of fact or anything, I just feel like it isn’t likely to continue.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I’m glad we got some kind of return for Bionicle and that the figures we got were awesome!!! Also, Netflix show.

Also, at least it would never get to the point where it overstayed its welcome and ended up making bad sets so that it wasn’t remembered as fondly as it would have been (HF brain attack, the Inika build for some).

Where do you live because I see the 2016 sets all over and at my local lego store they said that bionicle was selling well. Also Lego has finally emailed me back and has said that the theme is doing average but they don’t have exact numbers YET and told me that we should wait

At my Lego store if you don’t get the sets you want at release you’re probably out of luck

What I really want from 2017 is there to be two large villains around $20 theyll be makuta’s enforcers one having the mask of speed and one having the mask of strength, also a makuta vs ekimu set both protector sized and fighting over the MoUP, and finally a massive Titan makuta who’s been changed or taken over by the MoUP which is revealed to be sentient and it should include and mutated and translucent MoUP and the mask of time which the toa must use to stop makuta.
If Lego has those then I’ll be satisfied, and I hope this isn’t the final year but if it is I really hope they push the envelop with what they do

Ooh, that sounds like a good idea! They already teased those masks on the site–I want them in set form! Villains having them would be awesome!
Come to think of it, I want more mask powers in general. I know most of the masks on Okoto are elemental, but I think that new villains/heroes need different masks to make them more interesting…

More unique masks that aren’t just tied to specific elements would be awesome and then that’s could actually make the villains stand more of a chance and have more character than being just generic foot soldiers like most of the skull villains
Edit: also it would be awesome if Lego started incorporating copper into the villains and maybe some of the toas in addition to gold and silver

So a set very similar to the Kopaka and Melum Unity Set, and similar to Mask Maker VS Skull Grinder set?
That would be sweet, and it would make sense.
Makuta the Mask Maker would be Protector-sized, meaning he would be about $10.00.
Then Evil Makuta could be about Umarak-sized, so he could be worth $20.00!
And add the Mask of Ultimate Power as the collectible mask…
A $30 Titan Set?
