I think you’re right, Toan.
The arms were indeed brick-built, and as we can see they couldn’t be bent at the elbow. I don’t think Tahu’s weapon was connected with a minifigure bar, so it might be build into the arm.

This one’s pretty well-known, but never got a dedicated post here in the topic. The 2020 Lego City passenger plane is headed straight for Voya Nui:
Now I wonder if the All American Rejects boarded this plane in 2006.
The departures sign inside the airport also references other Lego themes. VYN is Voya Nui, LCI is Lego City, HLC is Heartlake City. I don’t know the other ones, do you?

STM could be Sentai Mountain from Exo-Force.
Speaking of Exo-Force and Bionicle references, Lego very recently officially revealed Set 60421:
In addition to the very obvious replica of the Stealth Hunter from Exo-Force (and the silhouette on a screen in the first image), note the Tahu vs. Gahlok gameplay on multiple screens in the arcade in the second image.

I’d love that just for the screens and arcade machines. Love that Alien Conquest is getting some love once again! It was a good theme, and should have been given a place in the Galaxy Squad/Ultra Agents universe.

It was. All Lego original themes from around 2010-2015 were explicitly connected, not just Galaxy Squad and Ultra Agents
In terms of Alien Conquest, Hypaxxus-8, the alien commander, formed an alliance with Amset-Ra from Pharaoh’s Quest to build the Scorpion Pyramid, for which he supplied his own UFO technology. He also supplied weaponry to the Atlantis manta warriors and caused the entire plotline of Dino by opening portals to bring forth prehistoric dinosaurs

I know up to the Dino 2012 part, but how did Galaxy Squad’s insect aliens connect? (I feel like it should, as it’s pretty similar to Alien Conquest, but I never heard anything about the later themes).

I really liked all those connections… I remember that my younger brother collected Dino, my mom “collected” Monster Hunters, and I collected Alien Conquest. When the connections were revealed, my young mind was absolutely blown.
Hot take, but I don’t think I’d be too upset if Lego created a completely new CCBS/Constraction theme if it linked up Bionicle and Hero factory in the same way all those earlier themes were connected. Heck, this might be controversial but I don’t think I’d even be mad if a very small number (or none) of the original characters returned, provided Lego links the two universes (officially, that is). Probably would give us a whole new way of thinking of the lore.
