Hi,
Here is my rendition of Toa Helryx for the Canon Contest #1: The First, Part 2.
I tried to stay as true to the set pieces as possible, while still using my own style. For the mask I went for a kind of knight meets water feeling, along with the opening at the top because it is the Mask of Psychometry, and it just feels right. I choose to draw her without a background, to bring all the attention to her.

Imagine my surprise to find that we have two masks based on knights’ armor. What a day I’m having. The crest sort of turns the entire mask into an Arthron, but I see your design philosophy and I agree with it. Nice decision to draw her without a background, too.
I think the way the crest makes an almost complete circle around the back makes this entry really stand out! I wish it went forward
