I made this a few weeks ago, but depression hits hard man.
This is my build of Toa Helryx.
[Action1]
I decided to make her look as set like as possible, while still being unique.
[Action2]
For the “frail” look, I used plenty of light blue joints, because they crack easily.
[Front1]
I also elected to use much gray for the “ancient” look, because logically her color would wear down over time.
[Side1]
Her armor uses pieces that Takanuva would not have seen. (Other than the wrist armor, but when he saw them, it was on Makuta, and as Pohatu’s toa tools.)
[Back1]
The lower arms are the same as Makuta, because Takanuva was reminded of him upon seeing Helryx.

Now this is my entry!
Best of luck to all!
PD: I can only upload 3 images and put 2 links because I have a new account, Is there anyway to change that? I had to put a link to another gallery for appreciation.
EDIT: Manage to get my Level 1 trust upgrade, now you can see full photos directly on the post!
Greetings, everyone,
As my first post on the TTV boards, I woould like to share with you my entry to the Toa Helryx CC#1 ‘The First’. When I read about Toa Helryx in the B lore, I’ve always pictured her as someone short of height, blue and medium blue color schemed (I tried to avoid the silver one, because there are already many silver pieces used in a lot of official MOC’s and sets, and the Glatorian wave showed us that return to the old solid colors make everything better), always serious or angry and all of her armour and Kanohi covered in spikes, you know, this kind of character who is strong in personality despite it’s fisical “weak” appearance. Helryx must represent “the Sea” more rather than water, and from all water bodies, seas are the oldest ones. Although I did not managed to d…

Ok finally finished up my MOC too, so here you go:
Hi it’s me again!
I initially didn’t plan to enter in the contest, because I am normally more of a system MOCist, but after seeing all the cool entries, I wanted to give it a shot and try something very different.
So here is my Helryx MOC:
[Canon Contest Helryx Final Render 2]
My main idea behind the build of this MOC is to really focus on Helryx being the first Toa.
My version of Helryx is very much designed to look like a prototype for other Toa. That’s why I purposefully tried to build her very incomplete and technical looking. Which I thought this would be fitting for her description in the story:
“She was not Makuta, but she was indescribably ancient and disturbingly frail in appearance. Her mask and armor were pitted and scarred from a thousand battles. She looked like a Toa, …
I hope I got everything right^^

Good luck, everyone! Here’s mine!
This is my MOC of Helryx, Toa of Water:
[DSC_0961]
Inspiration:
I based her design very closely on the Toa Mata and on Toa Krakua. I wanted to strike a balance between Helryx being one of only seven (correct me if I’m wrong) Toa to have been made, not born. However, I also wanted to maintain her lineage with the other canon contest.
Design:
Helryx stands taller than the Toa Mata, yet shorter than the average Inika build. She stands between them, and her height is most reminiscent of the Metru build. Her color scheme is Mata & Metru blue (eclipsing both colors of water in the Matoran Universe), Light Gray, Dark Gray, and Black (implying her struggle with the nature of reality and her rejection of the Toa Code. Her weapons are both mainly silver, but both are laced with hues of blue. H…

So, I think it’s time for my entry ^^
Hi, guys!
I have the honor to idtroduce you to my interpretation of Toa Helryx.
I’ve wanted to use Toa Metru build creating hers body but in the same time, make her look like a prototype Toa (cause she was the first). That’s why hers shoulders and feets are much more robotic than other’s Toa. Still, she looks femine and slender. About colors, I’ve choosen darker tons cause she isn’t the most innocent Toa we know
To make her look more ancient, I’ve added elegant hooks (making a callback to the first Toa we had in a set form) crowning hers shoulders.
On the back, you can see gear used to block gearbox mechanism in position you like.
Hers head is poseable by moving black Slizer foot on hers back.
Her arms are a bit wider cause as Toa of Water, she should be able to use them to s…

Toa Helryx: Bringing Order to a world of Chaos.
This Helryx design is based around a toa Mata torso, while adding slightly more height to bring it closer to the scale of a typical Inika or Glatorian style Toa.
I am also operating under the assumption that this represents Helryx “in her prime”.
At the point she was found by Takanuva, she had lived through thousands upon thousands of years of battle, reducing her to her more frail, weaker state.
This is backed up by descriptions by Greg Farshtey himself.
The build itself is fairly simple.
