how exactly do I post my entry, just asking to make sure, I am going to participe in the drawing part of the contest, so I want to know in advance how to do it. BTW I am relatively new to the site.

Assuming entry guidelines are the same for the MOC to Art portion, you’d post your art with (Meet the Maker) somewhere in the title, and then link your post to the main topic for the art contest.

Arthaka - The Burning Forge (Bionicle Canon Contest #2: Meet The Maker) Lego Creations

[2020-09-21 19-54-19 (C,Smoothing4)] Here is my take on Arthaka. I started the moc with the midriff forge section. The rest of the design followed after that. The Giant gear on the back is connected to a gearbox that moves the right arm. The hammer was designed to have some kind of oven inside of it. Artakha the Creator (Canon Contest #2: Meet the Maker) Lego Creations

Here is my entry for the second canon contest. He appeared to be ambivalent to the events of the world, creating artifacts of both light and darkness, and also isolating his domain from the outside world. Entry Photo: [20200916_142908] I wanted to make him highly armored, and tried to make some unique shaping in his design. He has some oddities about his appearance such as slightly haunched legs, clawed hands, and exposed ribs. Being that he and Karzahni are unique creations of the Great Beings, and early ones at that, I think there could be some “otherness” and prototyping to his look. For example: prominent pistons in his abdomen and legs and cables running up his spine. For his hammer I went the route of classic Bionicle design, and just put an absurde amount of pistons on it. Highlight your topic’s URL.

Right click and press “Copy”.

And then when replying click on the chain icon, then right click and press “Paste” into the first box.

Gathered friends, I am here today to enter my submission for the Meet the Maker Contest. Let me introduce my rendition of the wearer of the Mask of Creation himself, Artakha! Entry Photo: [Artakha3_pose] “Artakha is a powerful being from the Matoran Universe, the “brother” of Karzahni, and the ruler of the island realm of Artakha, named after him.” Given that he is the brother of Karzahni, that tidbit went heavily into my design process, for I based his entire torso around the Karzahni set, with some obvious modifications to account for the whole “Karkahni being a mutated freak due to the pit” situation. Artakha, G1 style build (Meet the Maker contest entry) Lego Creations

[Artakha Render Front] This is my entry for the Artakha contest. I wanted to design something that people wouldn’t need to paint parts to build. I also wanted to keep to the style of '06 - '08 Bionicle. I did need to use a unique elbow and forearm design to support the mighty weight of his hammer. I had thought of using a smaller hammer, but I just loved the shape and color of the UCS Batmobile wheels. It seemed natural for the Mask of Creation to also be gold in G1, seeing as other rare or legendary masks tend to gold until something bad happens to them. (Tarnished Vahi, mid-countdown Ignika, shadow leeched Avohkii) It also seemed fitting for the mask not to be only piece of gold on the build. I made sure the neck joint can easily be replaced with a socket to accommodate a Metru head.…

I didn’t plan to. I really didn’t. But after seeing all those early super buff Artakha’s I just couldn’t resist at least trying to provide an option that’s not super buff and more like what I imagine Artakha to look like. You probably all know know how sudden motivation sometimes is. Still, three weeks for this was kinda short, especially since I needed to order some parts from Bricklink as well. As such, maybe this MOC might not be perfection, but I at least managed to build something decent, I think. As per my personal rules, this MOC uses no painted parts, no 3D-printed parts and no CCBS parts. It is possible for everyone with access to only normal Lego parts, to build it exactly like this. This MOC does (probably?) use illegal techniques. Everything is at least connect…
