This is part 2 of a previous post I made a couple days ago of a series of MOCs and stories that I’ve called the Bionicle Dark Fates Alternate Universe. More details in part 1 about the story but the main idea is that this is the timeline where Mata Nui is killed in an event known as the “Final Cataclysm” and the Empire of the Makuta rules the Matoran Universe alongside the Darkhunters.
Axonn, the Green Giant:
The Order of Mata Nui was disbanded and scattered amidst the chaos of the Final Cataclysm. With the Ignika destroyed, the guardian Axonn felt no need to remain on Voya Nui. His destiny was in his own hands now and the Matoran of Voya Nui seemed strong enough to handle themselves now that the shadow of the Piraka was long gone. With no leads on the whereabouts of his fellow Order members, he decided to travel the universe in hopes of reforming the group and taking back the world they loved. However it was mere days after his departure when the forces of the Makuta swept in, seizing control of the once hiding place of the Great Spirit.
Enraged, he returned and single-handedly lay waste to their fortress and was appointed King and protector of Voya Nui, the last bastion of freedom left in the world. Try as they might, no one has managed to defeat the Kingdom of Voya Nui. Its king, Axonn is a stubborn thorn in Makuta’s side but he dares not challenge Metru Nui head-on. Choosing not to risk the lives of his people, Voya Nui exists as its own nation, isolated from outsiders and in a perpetual state of defense. If the Order were to be reformed, they would have to tear down his walls and drag him off his throne before he joined some foolhardy quest to restore the world.
