This is how I envisioned Hewkii if he became cured of his Creature-from-the-Black-Lagoon Syndrome, along with a Toa version of Maku

This is an interesting What If scenario. The MOCs themselves are pretty simple, but the color scheme of dark grey and tan is an effective one.

Its technically gunmetal, but it didn’t show up the great. I never liked the yellow / orange pieces, just gross looking colours to me, even though the sets were sometimes well built, so I figured I’d make this new Hewkii with a nod to his matoran version instead

I’ve found that stud.io’s Metallic Black looks like a more convincing Pearl Dark Gray in renders than the actual colour. For example:
Speaking of colours, what did you use for Macku’s secondary colour? Is that Light Aqua?
