Biovival Discussion (aka Christian Faber's mysterious project)

ooh, interesting.
I’d assume both of those are alien species Mata Nui discovered during his interstellar journey.

okay so I am lost in this conversation, but

This is cool and also horryfing concept. Imagine the horror of a group of human scientist that took a frozen Toa into their temporary base deep into continent and “it” unfroze and now became a localised destruction-causing machine

Bayformers in a nutshell.

I think it would not be like Bayformers tho… I imagine something like a bunch of people bring a frozen humanoid… thing into the base and after some time it dissapears because it unfroze and everyone panics because The Thing (the OG Short Story AND both movies loosely based on it) exists. They prepare for the worst case sceario aaaand…

Turns out that the thing that unfroze isn’t an unspeakable horror that wants to kill them in a brutal way. And despite it looking kinda creepy (ya know, biomechanics), it’s actually pretty friendly.

ooh that sounds interesting as well

The best part that their only victim is at least one pantry/food storage shelf that they broke while attempting to reach something buried deep on the toppest shelf

That’s been done a few times as really bad knockoff films mostly copying transformers. Biggest problem here is by your description alone, I don’t see Bionicle anywhere.

Do not bring Bay movies into this. No matter how tempting is to beat the dead horse

The fact remains, those types of films have been done before, even outside of copying bayformers. Strange alien creature arrives and is actually quite good, but considered evil by the general populous, so a plan to either return home or convince the world it isn’t evil. Bayformers does this, yes, but so does E.T.

That plot alone isn’t really Bionicle, and I’m not sure how you could make it distinctly Bionicle and still keep that sort of plot.

The entire GSR is buried under Antarctica. The Toa found in the ice are just the tip of the ice burger.

You’re really going to have to Thai(-Cobb Burger) harder on your puns.

please stop booing.

Hey, we could lay the Faber-sized GSR out flat under Antarctica and it’d fit
