Just smile and wave.

Welp, can’t wait to see the same conversations the next time Faber posts

Gotta love reading the same stuff being debated every few months :ok_hand:

“Skipper, should we tell them the ancient alien people were right, that Antarctica is hiding something?”
“Nah”
“Smile and wave boys, smile and wave.”

That would be a fun idea, another robot underneath maybe Bota Magna’s pole or something…

as far as knowing the universe or story, I’m definitely on the same level as the main character

Honestly that’s probably the thing that bums me out the most about it. I could make the same arguments over and over, but honestly at this point I might as well just copy/paste old posts. Nothing has really changed since those older arguments; we’re all very rooted in our beliefs about Faber and not much is going to change them.

Well, I disagree. At least, for myself.

I’ve been solidly pro-Faber for a long time until there simply wasn’t enough room to be a Faber fan anymore. He stayed needlessly cryptic, he refused to provide details about anything, and it’s nearing three years of this shtick with invisible promises made and nothing delivered.

Whatever he’s hoping it will accomplish, I hope it’s been worth alienating a good portion of his fans.

I’ve got nothing against Faber, I just think thatever gets made isn’t going to be something I’m interested in. I’ll be honest in saying that I was more of a hero factory kid, so I’m not super interested in the return of bionicle’s story/another reboot of it. I was more invested in the products than I am the story, and without products, I’m not invested at all.

olmak existed on voya nui. we cannot rule out save the band being secretly canon

New canister just dropped.

Ok, it’s the one we’ve seen before but with some added details.

An interesting evolution on what we’ve had before - the canister designs its occupant’s body for wherever they arrive. (But also reminiscent of the non-canon 2001 depictions of Toa arriving as pieces to assemble.)

Bioseed seems at least a little similar to Amphi Seed, the name used for the Toa Mata’s canisters back before the Toa Mata were Mata or Toa. They were long, yellow bean pods which contained the to-be heroes of that toyline.

There are different red indicators on the drawing of the Bioseed which are rather blatantly named afterta loose understanding of the developmental process for pitching an idea to a company, which seems to carry the idea he’s presented that he’s definitely, really working on something.

So quick question, Faber:

What are you doing?
And on followup, what is Biovival? Is it a product I’ll be seeing in my estimated lifetime, or just a series of inspirational messages? It’s been almost three years of teasing and promising; if I’m expected to go another three I have to know what it is.

This is probably the most straightforward thing he’s said at all.

All in all, nice art and interesting bits of “lore”, for lack of a better tern

New tag? #domecexpedition?

That was more concrete than usual and I still have no idea what he’s talking about. It all reminds me of an engineering student’s linkedin. I love the art!

Rebel Nature logo and the Bionicle capsule.

So they’re officially connected then.
