Had the legs lying around since the beginning of the year. Wanted to do something cool with them but just couldn’t pick a direction, so I decided to just have some fun instead.
You have no idea how relieved I was to read this topic
The white in the center of the feet is a little distracting, and imo would be better in black to match the rest of the legs, but otherwise this is a solid concept turned into a solid moc. Dark orange was a good choice for accent color and really helps the contrast pop.
I honestly don’t find this creepy at all, the build is too cute and the name is too hilariously excellent of a pun. The use of the big orange wheel is really excellent!
What a good little buddy. I can easily picture these perched in a tree in Wonderland or Over the Garden Wall, it’s just got that dreamlike fantasy element that feels both otherworldly and familiar
This is the boards lingering PTSD regarding the Bat/Bug MOC feud isn’t it haha.
Yeah I kind of burnt my Lego budget for the year already and am saving for other real life stuff, so unfortunately I don’t have any black battle droid torsos. When I get around to getting some I’ll probably change them out as you mentioned, would make the legs look better overall. Appreciate the comment!
Was going for goofy cute more than creepy, with a bit of Halloween flair. Happy that’s reflected! Also I’m happy you got the pun haha, was too good to not make use of.
Dreamlike fantasy is kind of what I was going for, glad it echoes that! Appreciate the comment!
