Borkogg: An old MOC redone

Hello, guy. Today, I present a MOC (that you might not like, but I like) that I originally built when I was… 8 or 10, idk, time passes too fast. I took apart 1.0 quite a while ago, and I decided to revamp it. This version that I’m showing, 2.5, is quite the fun build to play with!

Here are the photos (I had fun with a lot of these shots!)

In this picture, he has spaghetti sauce on his fingers for some reason.

But if you prefer proper hygiene, here is the sauceless version

My joints in the morning: collapsing bone structure

What I look like growing so much: stringbean limbs

And here are the boring pictures. Meh.

BOOOOOOOOOOOO! YOU ARE INFECTED!

And I am aware left arm is terrible. Those are parts limitations I guess he is a righty?

And finally, here is the only picture I have of 1.0. You can see the Borkogg on the right.

The biggest fault with 2.0 and 2.5 is the fact that they lose the hunch. I might make a 3.0 with the hunch. Another thing 1.0 had that other versions didn’t have was the circular armor. I might add those too in 3.0. However, I will always be sure to keep the same feel with this MOC, even if it prevents it from being a great MOC in your eyes.

And that is the Borkogg. I don’t really expect you to cheer this MOC on or anything, it isn’t that good, but I would like to hear your feedback nonetheless. Try not to make suggestions because updates for this MOC are not coming anytime soon.

Reply and stuff now lol.

I honestly like the look… well, until he stands up all the way.

It’s certainly unique lol

He was never meant to sand all the way lol. He has a digitized leg design, which is meant to be collapsed. Either way, it looks funny when you extend them all the way!

The color balance is weird. It goes from red and black, to blue and grey, to yellow, with white fingers. The arms being different styles is another example, with one arm being longer than the other. There are some good ideas, but it has no cohesion.

In 2.0, (which is very similar to this version), this version adds to the legs and reworks the torso, but looks pretty much the same) I built the torso and legs with red in mind for the color scheme, stopped for months (part shortage was a nightmare), and then returned with a different vision, including blue. So the torso and legs were from a time when there was more red, and the arms are from a later time when there was blue. In short, I was kinda lazy and didn’t make consistent changes

Parts shortage I already explained this

Again, I don’t have an infinite collection of LEGOs

That’s what this MOC kinda was since the start, I suppose. 1.0-2.5 had that issue.

I like the legs. Don’t you dare quote me in the Out of Context Quotes topic.

The legs are cool. The hoses both look cool and reinforce the design. I like the legs, too.

I said the same thing you said without the warning so that people can still OOCTTVQ this. HEHEHE. I’M SO EVIL!

A rather basic MOC. It’s kinda rough, even though it’s brick-based, but it’s not the end of the world. The hands are pretty fun.

I quite like the head! Rest of the MOC has some nice ideas, but feels kinda unfinished overall.

The brain sluggo likes it, too.

For some reason, I’m starting to get the ambition to build 3.0, even though I likely won’t have the time to do so…

Screw you, past me, I’m probably gonna update this MOC soon!
