Hello fellow fellows of the fellowship of the Three Virtues! I have returned yet again with another thing for you to critique! This time, I went to a LEGO store and picked up some bricks from the Pick A Brick Wall. I came home and wanted to build a cool robot. That robot ended up as a Bayverse transformer!
If the Pick a Brick wall had lollipop studs in red, I would have made the eyes red. Unfortunately, they only had black, so the eyes are hard to see, especially in photos.
And because I’m really that nice, here are the instructions!
Now I encourage you to go ahead and make something really cool with the Pick A Brick wall! I would love to see your creations!

Anyhow, it seems none of you are addressing the MOC, which means either it is so dang good there is nothing to judge, or it is so bad you are speechless.
Heh. It’s definitely not the worst it could be. I like all the sloped bits being scattered in different directions, makes it feel like they’re all part of something else and this isn’t their default state.
I like how the upper legs connect to the body like a smaller-scale Titan! The chest is pretty decent, and I’m surprised to find that I’m not too bothered by the open studs on the lower torso. Some of the textures across all the body are a little inconsistent, however.
That’s what I was going for! Leg supports are gotta be the coolest things ngl.
I ended up keeping the studs at the lower torso because they emulate the circular abdomen detailing seen on some Bayverse designs.
I think the worst areas are the hands because they feel bare-bones due to the parts selection, and the pelvis is strangely smooth. The feet feel too greebled compared to the shins, and some parts don’t have enough lolipop studs for detailing. Most of these problems come down to two things: 1. The pick A Brick wall in LEGO stores has quite a small selection. 2. I’m not exactly a Mitch Builds or Djokson. There are quite a lot of things I need to learn as a builder, who has only gotten relatively good in the past 4 or 5 years, with the limits of my collection of parts. ALL MY BIONICLE PARTS ARE STORED IN TWO SANDWICH BAGS! THAT’S HOW LITTLE I HAVE! And most of my system is random parts from old sets and is unorganized.
Not really any way to translate that guy’s fingers into Lego if that’s what you mean, they’re just polygons in the general shape of fingers. No details, no mechanisms, nothing. Especially considering the fact he built the hands with only parts from the Pick-a-Brick wall, I don’t think there’s any chance of making something that smooth.
I gotta agree with you, Minethuseluh, these hands are kinda rough due to the
Nature of the build. Also, if I didn’t run out of lollipop studs from using them up in other parts of the build, the hands would have been better. Maybe with the lollipop studs on hand (pun not intended), I would have made the hands better. Also, I did try to cover the exposed mixel ball joint at the wrist, but I ran out of the correct parts.
