Has that been set in stone? I know Kahi proposed it a couple of episodes ago, but I believe the cast is going to discuss the Toa’s origins in more depth pretty soon, especially with this discussion/debate of “how many members should there be” taking place.
They all really wanted the Toa to start out as matoran so that they would be more integrated with the village, with all of them being unanimous, I doubt they’d change it.
question, does the toa have memory loss in g3? if they did, then that would be the best way to explain why they would not remember their former lives, because those memories were striped of them.
@Jakura_Nuva
i actualy did think that the reason for why would be so that the toa would be forced into a possition were in they would have to learn to be more humble towards the people on the island, that and the possible idea of the toa having to sacrifice their individual identities when they reform the toa kaita once more (though they would still keep the memories) the reason for the sacrifice would be because if they did not become the toa kaita again, then the elements and the balance of nature would still be leaderless and thus allow Makuta to futher gain control over it which would be something that Makuta was slowly doing, similarly to how in the G1 comics, Teridax was able to manipulate the island of Mata Nui to attack the toa.
You know what? I’m not even sure why I’m bothering. None of us work for Lego and none of us therefore will have the final say in what goes on in G3 -or even if there will BE a G3. By the end of the day anything we and TTV come up with will just be fanfiction
I believe their general consensus was no, they wanted to have the Toa deal with the implications of their transformations while remembering what it was like to be matoran.
If that’s how you feel that’s up to you. No one’s forcing you to be here.
ah well, i atleast manadge to think off an interesting story idea. I can then only hope that the Podcast members see it and find it atleast to be interesting.
On a somewhat tangential note: can someone explain to me why the mods haven’t shut down all of the spin-off versions of this topic? The boards are usually very strict about no duplicate topics, yet we now have six topics all talking about G3 elements. It seems that whenever someone decides that their ideas for the elements aren’t getting enough attention, they just make a new topic to force people to talk about their ideas and nothing else. But if the point here is to come up with what the elements for G3 should be, shouldn’t the discussion be happening in the official topic that TTV created and has said that they are monitoring? And if your not discussing things pertaining to TTV’s Brickonicle pitch, should you be in the Brickonicle category that they said existed specifically for discussion about It? I don’t understand why we have five extra topics that only seem to exist because their creators want more attention.
You’re suggesting killing the entire team at once?
Seems a little dark.
So the toa metru, but mata.
Tbh, g3 has gotten to the point I just don’t want it, things are being changed for no good reason and if I object my argument is dumb, or I just ‘don’t want change’, this topic has completely soured my opinions on a g3.
I don’t like all these element shenanigans, nonsensical combinations are bad enough, but with people trivializing their importance to bionicles identity in order to justify them it really frustrates me.
I don’t mind the line being system, I don’t mind the plot being changed to the level it is, but I vehemently disagree with ttvs(and the communities) element decisions, they drastically change how elements work and the dynamics between them, which does greatly affect the world and story, as much as some of you want to deny that.
Unless I’m the exception, I haven’t gotten any messages of any kind forcing me to reply on one of these topics, or any topics in my entire time here, for that matter.
You don’t need to reply to them, and complaining about them is kind of giving them attention.
