Beautiful! These ruins remind me a lot of the Bionicle design language. Are the red/orange areas smoke, trees, landscape, etc.?
So adorable! The broken wing tells so much story with but an image.
I like the shading, and the detailing on the head and chest.
Very unique design!
This guy looks imposing, whether for good or ill. Either way, they definitely don’t look like someone to mess around with.
I like their faces, and their metal tubing looks really great too. I lumped them together since their armor seemed to be related in some way, but I do like how they still aren’t anywhere near identical.
(If one is named Anthem, is the other named Song? Melody Pond? Tune?)
Love how the robots all have a Forerunner/Promethean vibe with their geometric and neon light designs. Also love the greebles on them. Fun appearances all around!
These look neat! Big fan of how Anthem looks, and that first pic also looks a lot like a pile of bones imo, which is honestly a cool vibe for a bunch of ancient ruins.
‘Ghost’ - very powerful traveller magician.
Knows about the reader/viewer’s presence, but really wants them to leave, & stop reading the story further:
He isn’t an antagonist, but has some goal he’s constantly working towards, travelling from planet to planet.
His flames are able to interfere with the reader’s p.o.v, and he has some kind of backstory he doesn’t want to reveal.
(So, each time a flashback about his backstory happens, he physically obscures or burns the visuals to keep the reader from finding out)
Hey wait a minute, the topic said there’d be a million years gap between updates, I’m unsubscribing due to false advertising
Ghost here feels at once both like a powerful antagonist working for his own aims and the specialist lackey of the big bad villain of the series. The Nicolas Cage bee torture helmet is an interesting vibe, and the frayed sections of the rope/chain floating alongside the wisps of power (which are really well done) give him the impression of a vast, barely-controlled power he needs only little effort to utilize to devastating effect.
My only gripes are that the figure has two very different sleeves (of different lengths) and the overall shaping of the green cloak gives him a rather barrel-shaped physique, but that’s about it. And I simply must know from what tailor he acquired the colossal purple snake-like scarf, because I want one.
Ghost’s hat reminds me a lot of Zarkt from Ninjago, but he doesn’t seem near as incompetent. I love the power bursting around him, and the flames licking at the edges of his coat are a delicious visual. I also like the way that his outfit fades to the black of the backdrop. I will second that his left sleeve looks a little strange, but that’s my only problem with him, especially given how interesting his personality sounds. Great work!
