I absolutely love this. I’m feeling lots of Aztec vibes here, especially the chest markings and the shoulder plates. Amazing work

Wow. This is just excellent. Brilliant. Outstanding. Superb. Beautiful. I can’t put it into words enough about how awesome it is.
You captured the bio-mechanical feel spot on, and the way that the armour seamlessly flows into the body is just top-notch.
The small details like his shoulder armour is almost furry is sublime, and the background and lighting just pushes up this art.
Question - you’ve taken some liberties with the sword - why? Did none of the swords that Tahu has or had work for this Tahu? Also, what’s the point of the vents on the swords?

There’s vents on the swords?

Maybe you mean the…hm…what are they called? Jets? Maybe. But I think what you might be referring to as vents are supposed to shoot flames, representing the flame pieces on the set.

This is one of the few times when I can honestly say my jaw dropped at the sight of something because it’s so freaking awesome. I’d heard on the Podcast and all that Var was supposed to be good at art, but… wow. I had no idea… The rune-etched swords, the wing patterned pauldrons, the fierce, regal look on his mask. You made 2016 Tahu work in a way I fear the set never will. Nothing but applause for you, sir. Nothing but applause for you.
