This is a piece I did in my art class just a few days ago. It was a study of a picture I took, rendered with charcoal. It turned out really well, minus the not very straight lines.
I’ve come to hate working with charcoal. Mostly because it gets all over my clothes…

Neato! I’m not the biggest fan of charcoal, but I do like how loose it is, and I think your piece exemplifies that.
If you want to fix the straight line problem, try using the edge of some artist tape to guide the lines when you start. Worked quite well for a few people I knew.

good drawing! it looks good, and the different shades work really well to create the idea of different colors. It looks exactly like a real black&white photo, with the less focused areas and everything!
I think it fits the feel of the art
Also this gives me a very grim dark tone and I love it
