Gonna be posting some of my Inktober here stuff too.
Visas Marr from Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. A Miraluka sith assassin, she joins the Jedi Exile as a companion to fight against her former master, Darth Nihilus.
Day 3, the Catwoman of the 90s. One of my favorite Catwoman costumes, found in Lego Batman as an unlockable costume and featured heavily in the 90s. It was the only thing that immediately popped into my head with the word “boots” because I thought of her ridiculously long boots.
I accidentally scratched the page with one of my pens. Whoops.
Back in the 1890s, an Irish woman came to the states with extraordinary powers and joined a local Marshall to bring justice to the American rust belt!
What I came up for with “exotic” (barely following the prompt), had this idea hovering around for a long time. One quandary I came across with the current concept of the character is that I kept his old name, “Barnes” when he should have been a “McCandall” due to his lineage. I decided somewhere along the line one of the Emerald-Men in the lineage was a woman so she could take her husband’s surname.
And then obviously she was an Irish immigrant and so it got me thinking of the late 19th century when a lot of Irish came over to America. Pieces fell together. One day I’ll write a proper comic about this.
Enough people yesterday were interested in the concept here and on my twitter so I decided to draw a little more of this character. She’s a bit of a lunatic.
I decided I might have her skin become a deathly pale whenever she is using her powers. It looked rather good to me if I am doing a more “creepier” concept of a character.
Trying to go for a more pulp anti-hero feeling for her. Would largely be fighting street level criminals instead of the spectacular villains I use in Emerald-Man.
The evil Doctor Ocular, who I just made up on the spot but now really like this design. I might just be making up a rogues gallery for Blue Moon through this inktober lol.
Made a friend for Doctor Ocular, called Doctor Lazerclaw. The more I draw these characters, the more I am realizing I am making these villains more golden aged/earlu silver aged inspired. I think if I ever make Blue Moon it would certainly take place during that time period.
