Classic Lego Sets

Talk about some your first Lego sets (I can imagine almost every ones first comes from that foggy period of their childhood but do your best to describe them anyway.)

Alternatively talk about a set that was before your time you would like to get your hands on.

My first sets were from the Rock Raiders line.

Edited for double post- Star

The first sets I got were a creator bucket, the Racers Super Speedway board game, a small construction vehicle, the Guarded Inn and the Community Workers.

The first line I actively collected was Alpha Team: Mission Deep Freeze.

My first two sets were from Island Extreme Stunts in 2004.

My first set was either the small 2005 dinosaur set, the purple knight’s kingdom dude, or the black vahki.

The first lego set I ever got was this big red bucket full of parts and a bunch of different build instructions.

My most memorable early set was this little gem from the Orient Expedition theme:

I think my first was either a parts bin, Onua Mata, a Y Wing, or a Johnny Thunder set.

it looks like the fortrex’s great granduncle

I could never remember if this was my very first LEGO set I received, though it is the earliest set that I can remember getting.
That set being 7201 “Final Duel II”

Not a huge set, but getting my own Luke Skywalker and Stormtrooper was a huge deal when I was a kid.

My first set was a bunch of the castle sets from 2007. Most notably the kings castle seige. not much later I got the 1999 X-wing fighter unopened from a cousin. being like 6 or whatever I opened it and I’m currently trying to rebuild it.

The first set I ever got when I was four years old, unless you count DUPLO. You could barely build anything with it. That is, until I got the Stingray Stormer and it really started my passion for lego.
