Jungle Book had its chance with the poster art

I went into that theater (pffft remember when we could go to theaters?) with very low expectations, but optimistic hope.

The optimism was unreasoning - my expectations were emphatically confirmed.

Yeah I miss it.:pensive:

I will discuss that movie after I watch it (translation: there will be no discussion sorry)

I remember the show

Yeah, the show was a classic, but the movie just seems wrong.

“You either fade away into obscurity or live long enough to see yourself become the live/animated adaptation.”

Most adaptations let me down, it’s not entirely the fault of those producing, sometimes it’s hard cramming stuff into a movie. Of course Clifford surely couldn’t be mishandled right? I genuinely am not sure but I don’t see new movies often so I’ll probably only learn second hand.

maybe they’ll remake it in a good way

I wouldn’t count on it. It’s for kids.

You have said it all, my friend.

It’s a soulless nostalgia-bating reboot. Nobody in production actually put effort into this, let’s be real.

Yeah a live action movie about some nostalgia bate. I know you can’t judge until you see but thats all I see here.

but still it could be different…
yeah my argument sucks

I’m watching it and They should’ve just made a kaiju movie and recast Clifford as a chihuahua. It’d be a lot more entertaining that way.
