Completed Mask of Time

Alright, now that I’ve got that out of my system.

I’ve been fascinated with the mask of Time every since I say it on the back of a mask pack. So when the upper half of the mask came out I was very excited. I like the design, but it kind of reminds me of a butterfly. And the lower half reminds me of swiss cheese. Hmm, Butterflies and Cheese… are you having stomach problems LEGO?

But what I was most excited to see is how they would fit together, and I’m not sure how well they do. (since the bottom part of the upper half seems to intrude onto the lower half. {confusing No?})

So I’ve tried to draw what they might look like when combined.

The Vahi might change shape when the two halves fuse; that’s what I’m guessing. Or the Vahi might change shape like the Ignika. (it is a legendary mask after all)

This is my second attempt to combine the two halves:

I also tried looking at the Movie Version of the Vahi for inspiration. Strangely it reminded me of a headband.

So much for inspiration.

Awesome looking, but I still think the bottom half looks different in G2.

I didn’t even know they had introduced the Mask of Time into G2…wow.

It actually looks pretty cool by itself…and as Kanohi Cheese-Butterfly. LOL

@moamahrimatoro I’m guessing Lego will come out with it on 2017.

Awesome! I think that second design looks better, however as always I hold out hope that Lego will blow us all away with their combination (seriously. Blow us away. something needs to change with G2).
