i started by making all the pieces out of corrugated cardboard and then i sprayed it with a rubberized undercoat. then i thinned out silver acrylic paint and using my hands i washed it with the fluid. detail paint was done with regular acrylic paint and brushes.

Really? I assumed using vacuum-moulded plastic is the standard, but I suppose cardboard works too. You made it look really good.

My god, this is great!
The thing is, it lacks the Mando symbol, though, it being a custom Mando outfit/Armory makes it unique, thus not requiring the sign.

As a member of the 'mercs, I can honestly say that this is one of the best cardboard kits I’ve seen. Honestly, if you were to have a proper flight suit and visor, this could almost be approved!

Although to memory you need the costume to be of an official amour set from a pice of star wars media
For the 501st it needs to be accurate, the Mando-mercs would accept OC, although tbh, this needs a lot of work, and probably bondo-ing before it would be considered.

Yeah if I was to redo the suit i would use pepakura and resin and all of that but right now i don’t have the time or money to make a new one.
