Cyan Titan Mech (Trial and Error in MOC Making)

Ever build something that you think looks great but structurally is unstable?

Let me introduce you to Cyan Titan, my latest and not so greatest build of 2016.

This towering titan is the largest custom bodied humanoid I’ve built in a long while.
I first intended it to be a revamp of another moc I made a couple of years ago, but it ended up as something totally different…

However…he has a fatal flaw…he’s top heavy…

His upper body is too large and bulky for the single ball joint connector in the waist, even with a friction joint. The arms themselves are also heavy, and their connection to the body is very loose…

Over-all I like how this thing looks, but it’s just too big.
I’ll probably redesign it later and use it as a basis for my original plan.

Try attaching it with multiple ball joints, but it does look pretty cool.

Most lego transformers right here…

Cool moc, it actually looks like a transformer imo. I can see the stability problems though

Pretty good thus far.

It looks pretty good, but the red could be distributed more over the rest of the MOC.

The size of the arms look too big in comparison the the rest of the MoC. Other than some already stated stability issues, I like it.

This looks really good.

it looks ok
the proportions look weird

Thanks dudes
I was trying to go for a stylized mech, inspired by different series like Evangelion and Robotech,
I just wish it had turned out better this first time…
What I had in mind when building this was revamping this totally CCBS build I made about 3 years ago.

Sora Zenjin was my own take on a Mecha along the lines of a Super Robot along the lines of Gaogaiger, or Mazinger Z.
And like any good Super Robot, he even had powered up forms…

Anyway…I might try to revamp this to look more like the original, instead of less…
