I like prehistoric creatures, and seeing all the entries here for the Duckbricks Bota Magna Wildlife Contest inspired me to make my own. I was reviewing the rules for my other entry when I noticed that the entries aren’t just limited to dinosaurs, and I knew I had to make this:
This is my entry to the Small category.
These underwater creatures are a mostly-accurate replica of an opabinia, though these ones have been modified by the Great Beings with a turbine propulsion system, as well as an upgraded mechanical trunk:
It’s entirely purist (unless you stick a paper clip in the trunk for poseability), and can be made in many different colours:
