Gideon tipped his head up slightly. There were distant sirens. Were they heading to Luthor?
“Say, do you hear that?”
Not noticing Hayden’s approach, Iosif jumped with surprise when he heard his voice. He immediately swung his fists up in a defensive position. “Keep away.” He snapped with a heavy russian accent.
Iosif frowned. The roofs could trap him, and a jump from that height would likely hurt a fair bit, but they also had electricity. The sewer was safer, but if he needed to run, it would be a lot harder.
Building. Spinning on his heel, he used the last bit of built-up charge to run further into the alley. The first door was bolted, so he slipped inside the second one, locking it after him as quick as he could.
Unless that guy can break doors down, I should be able to get to the roof no problem. He can explain to the police and they’ll definitely…
