“The idea wasn’t bad, but getting a Grunt, a Jackal, and myself in a Spade and on a highway was asking for trouble. Someone at the base said I was crazy to think I could make it to the ruins of New Alexandria without getting killed. Honestly, we’re in more danger of getting flipped running over Moa than being chased by Brutes…” – Lieutenant James Sawyer, ODST, on his attempt to drive from a UNSC landing zone to New Alexandria post-glassing.
I’m not familiar with the source material, but the detailing is just as precise as your usual work, and is once again astonishing for being done with just pencils. Some of the angles feel a little off–the car compared to the road compared to the railing–but that’s not too big a deal.
How in the heck did the three of these coexist long enough to even get on a Spade in the first place
I like to think Lieutenant James Sawyer is thumbing for a ride after his ride broke down but I also don’t know how he’s going to get one with the company he has. Is the darkened arc across the page meant to represent anything?
