So, a while ago, I decided to do a LEGO build of Don Onitaijin from Avataro Sentai Donbrothers, but with a slight change: I wanted to make it so that Saru Brother Robotaro looked less like a gorilla and more like a Japanese macaque simply because the fact that Saru Brother looks more like a gorilla than a Japanese macaque was nagging the heck out of me. With that said, this is the best I could come up with.

Note that all of these guys have slightly increased articulation compared to the DX toys, and that Saru Robotaro lacks the muscles he had in his arms, and he has longer hind legs, and a small tail.
The transformation is mostly the same. But with the version I have, there’s a bit more complexity to it. The MOC is fully buildable, so if I have the motivation, I will be making instructions for this guy.
