I do.
I’m still pro-water gang.

I do.
I’m still pro-water gang.
Doctor Pepper gives me bad heartburn.
I only ever drink water, juice or milk
I drink pure cane sugar. It’s delicious!
Soda in general is just bad.
I’ve mostly stopped drinking it. I’ll have like a cup every now and then at parties and stuff, and maybe the occasional gingerale for fun, but even then only in the tiny cans they sell.
But it’s just horrible for you, and especially for your teeth. I can feel it corroding mine every time I drink it. It’s the same reason I’ve also sworn off most forms of candy.
But I also have some bad chronic heartburn as well, and soda and sugar in general do not help it.
I just started to notice this in the past year of my life. It’s kind of nice to not want soda anymore, although I do enjoy other sparkling beverages
I stopped drinking pop awhile ago and lost ten pounds in under a month
I’ll drink maybe a couple a week now but it’s mostly water or tea for me
I just discovered that Fanta with a bit of Parsley tastes really good.
Ever tried a citrus drink and had it taste like either raw ginger or cilantro?? I tried some Sundrop earlier this year, and it just didn’t taste like citrus at all. It’s weird, since I had drunk it before and it tasted fine.
Nobody mentioning milkshakes/malts at all in this entire topic makes me depressed.
milkshakes are pretty great. been a while since I had a malt
Milkshakes are only good if they are more solid than liquid, closer to a soft-serve consistency. Otherwise, it’s like drinking the liquid from melted ice cream.
And obviously, the milkshake will be ruined if it’s grainy. I had that happen once at a restaurant that specializes in milkshakes… so disappointing. But Sonic has excellent milkshakes. Exactly how I like them. Especially the Oreo cheesecake flavor.

Personally I love a good milkshake, but there are so many substandard ones out there. Texture and consistency is key; if I’m drinking it, I don’t want any hard bits, but if I’m eating it with a spoon having some kind of crunchy mix-in really helps.
All the ones where I lived closed down due to bad management and COVID. Wish they were still around.
Yes the cow being spun is worth it.
And agreed. Too many people only use shake mix and not actual icecream and milk.
Yes, that stuff. It’s good (or I’m weird)!
you do realize both is an option
I love milkshakes, but the price is not worth it. where i live a decently sized one costs around 5 or 6 euros. For that price i can get 4 scoops of ice cream in one of the big cones
Anyway in case of barbecue (and/or trip to slovenia) this is the thing to drink.
Dang that’s a good deal
Fresh ice cream in the states is typically much more expensive especially for four scoops
Is that a soft drink?
Used to be even better. up until a few years ago one scoop would cost around 1.20€ in my favourite ice cream shop, but now the price there is almost 1.60€
It’s a radler, which is beer mixed with some kind of citrus juice like lemon or orange. This one in particular is with pomegranate, which i feel is the best, the second best is with lemon
Interesting. Sounds a bit like Fresca (which is a grapefruit soda. Rather sour, but quite accurate to the fruit’s taste.)
