[FEATURED TOPIC] TTV Cast as the 2006 sets

I had the time today and while the site was down, I decided to make the main TTV Cast of Varderan, Meso, Eljay, Kahi, Venom and Viper in the sets from 2006.

So here is Var and Venom:

So as an I depth look I’ll start with Viper.

Using the TTV On Air episode I decided to make her the body of Piruk due to the Mahiki and make the body teal.

She also has a viper with the head of Zaktan on it.

Next let’s go with Meso.

Basically because he is a Skakdi, with no spine, I made his body based off of Vezon.

He is at the moment admiring his amazin’ raisin’.

Next up is Kahi.

I am not all too pleased with how he came out because he is supposed to be a lawyer at leisure, but I based him off of Jaller because of the Calix.

To make him look like a lawyer I decided to give him a suitcase, red tie and he is on the phone making some sort of call.

Next up we have Eljay.

He was the first one made because my brother decided to make a Toa of Mangosteen, and I liked it, so I made the Mangosteen, while he made the body.

It turned out nice, so I decided to make the rest of the cast.

OOC: What’s the Mangosteen?

Here we have Venom.

In the TTV On Air episode he was the big dude, so I made him after Brutaka.

I also gave him his, Shredder Claws!!!

No not the Big huge hands, it’s the tiny stubs on his sides.

And, last but certainly not least we have Varderan!!!

Now he was the last one I made, due to the mask, but it was also because it was hard to figure out what I should make him as.

To keep the continuity from 2006 I decided to make them after Umbra.

The hardest thing about this MOC was the mask, but I was lucky to find a broken Huki.

Now before @Chronicler freaks out let me explain myself:

I bought a lot and it came all broken and stuff. From the looks of it apparently, the last owner try to glue it back together but that didn’t work out.

And, since it was broken I decided to use his mask as Varderans model.
After some sharpie. It looked like this:

So, anyways I continued to make a Varderans model based off of Umbra using his normal black and white colors.

Although, there is an odd red sticking out of the middle of a saber, but it was the only color I had.

So without further adeu, here he is:

These are some of the better TTV-based Creations I’ve had the pleasure of seeing, much better than the drivel most people post.
The MOCs are, for the most part, very fitting, with perhaps
the best of them being Varderan and Venom.
The only thing I can see that’s a bit odd, in my opinion, is
using Axonn’s frame for Eljay, specifically the hands. (Which is just a problem
with Axonn no matter how you slice it.) And maybe (a nitpick) the lack of a
cape on Meso.

About Eljay:

Me and my brother were thinking, What if we made omega Eljay? and so, we used Axonn because he was the buffest. And then I thought, what if we made the rest of the cast out of the 2006 sets? and it just worked.

About Meso:

My cape is currently being used and I also thought, Well he doesn’t have a cape in the TTV On Air trailer or any other MOC I’ve seen him in. Besides, all he really needs is his Amazin’ Raisin.

But, I agree with you, he’d probably look better with a cape.

Most MoC interpretations of me do use either a cape OR wings. That being said, I don’t really mind that neither are present here. I’m grateful for the Amazin’ Raisin. :smile:

These are quite fantastic. I love the entire theme of what you tried to do here; everybody has their own unique personality that really fits their character (Shredder Claws and suitcase FTW). We spotlighted this topic in the latest TTV episode that will be released shortly, so stay tuned for that!

Hazah! You guys reviewed my TTV MOCs!
And, I have some responses to some of the things you guys discussed.

Starting with Viper:
You do not have a tail. Let’s say You have a viper that has Zaktan’s abilities.

Venom:
I didn’t see much of a reaction from you, but I think you didn’t like the claws, is this true?

Var:
Wasn’t there :frowning:

Kahi:
I’m sorry for the generic build. I know you guys said I made up for it with the suitcase and tie, but I want to make him better sometime soon.

I was going to try and paint the eyes and back of the head yellow, but I did not have the tools to do such.

Also I wanted to make your suitcase open, but I guess I sort of or just rushed it. :confused:

Basically, when I made the Mangostine, I had no idea what I was going to do…

I just figured that a Mangostine is just a plum, so I just made a really giant plum that you were holding and called it a Mangostine. (please don’t kill me)
