There is no way Freddy Fazbears Pizza employees would create this monstrosity. Not even by accident. This must be some sort of hallucination, hence the words “nightmare” in the background.

I retract my previous statement. This guy is real. Why? He’s withered the exact same way as Springtrap and features a very similar build, which means he was made at the same era that Springtrap was made. If you look at his eyes, they are not illuminated in the same way as any of the other animatronics were, meaning that he is not being controlled by a paranormal force. A person is in there. Said person clearly made this thing to kill. Possibly tying in to the idea that the person wanted to bring down the Fazbear company and ruin their reputation just like the Purple Guy, by causing the bite of 87.
Golden Freddy must be included in this game too since this is the “final chapter”. He has been a very vague character from the start, so maybe he has something to do with this monster?
BTW since Springtrap was known as Salvage, we should call this guy Carnage.

Agreed…but maybe he is just the latest incarnation of “Purple guy” so this is my theory.
FnaF 4 takes place in the year 2040. technology has progressed to the point were brain-mapping is now a thing, and “Carnage” is a spare suit from one of the sister locations. now the issue is this. SP survived the FFFFFFFIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! (Sorry I had to) and he gets a hold of some dudes that used to help him out. they are all old now and they want to get their brains turned into computer chips. so they all toss in some money so SP can get mapped as well. they do that and then the are put in nightmare versions of the old anamatronics and begin to haunt the world.
but hey, thats just a theory, a BRAINFART THEORY! THANX FOR WASTING YOUR TIME!!.

But if this new suit is like the Springtrap one - designed with spring-lock systems and cranks so that people can wear it - why does it only have four fingers on each hand? Springtrap had five, which people made a big deal about, because it clearly indicates the suit was designed to be worn. You could argue that a human could fit more than one finger in each animatronic finger, but why would you be forced to do that when the wearable suit (Springtrap) was designed with five fingers for human convenience? It’s inconsistent and illogical.
Also, most people - myself included - theorize that this is Fredbear from the very first pizza establishment… perhaps suggesting that this game will take place in that restaurant.

Remember that this guy is a redesigned killing machine. Maybe the original Fredbear animatronic had a spring lock, but when they redesigned it, they took of an extra finger or something. Recall that the bite of 87 was caused because the animatronics were allowed to free roam during the day, meaning that there wasn’t anyone inside the suit when the bite happened. Someone was probably controlling it remotely, or it was programmed to bite people.
