Markiplier never gave up on anything - he played through all three games and all their levels, and has also done multiple fan games whilst expressing his love for the series. I don’t think he’s “given up” on it just yet.

FNAF 4 confirmed, it’s the last game in the series. Halloween 2015 release date. If the picture gets brightened you will be able to see the word NIGHTMARE at the bottom of the picture.

Scott is a smart man. I’m pretty sure that he’s aware that most of the game mechanics have gotten stale by now. He will make this the most unique of all the games, I can feel it.

Yeah, totally! What if he does that thing that that one game did at the end, where you’re stuck in place for the whole game and then get to move around at the end?
I can imagine it already - the lights go out just like in the first game… only, there is no jumpscare. Instead, you’re allowed to leave your office, and then you discover…
