I have a theory as to why SpringTrap is small.
After the fire he was so damaged that he repaired himself as a smaller version, he then went to a creepy building and made the Nightmares. so after that he found a doll rocking chair and is now their king.

Possibly, possiblyā¦ the Springtrap image in the background of that news article at the end of FNaF 3 may have just been indicating that the spirit of said beastie was still alive and kickinā, rather than the entire animatronic.
Makes me wonder, thoughā¦ what if someone made a game that took place directly after 3, where you play as some guy who has to wander a forest and escape from the escaped, half-burnt Springtrap? Kinda like a Slender game, but FNaF.

Wouldnāt be great if, at the end, weāre given the choice to leave our room? Kind of like āPresentable Libertyā - we survive our time, and then at the end, something goes wrong. Power goes out, door swings open, whatever; and lo, we can leave! That would be a great touch.
But yeah, Iām expecting some really beautiful graphics. Heās taking almost a year to develop it, soā¦

So, just realized that, when the image is brightened, there are four doors visible.
A door for each animatronic?
And the little light smudge on the bottom right is actually purple when properly brightened.
