What means this image?

This is a flag, but no just like that… it represents the Mata Nui island and its people, the Matoran, even the Toa.

Colors

Is there six stripes of distinct color

1. Red = Toa Tahu, Fire, Strength and Courage
2. White = Toa Kopaka, Ice, Silence and Peace
3. Blue = Toa Gali, Water, Speed and Purity
4. Green = Toa Lewa, Air, Accuracy and Faith
5. Brown = Toa Pohatu, Stone, Strategy and Creation
6. Black = Toa Onua, Earth, Stamina and Prosperity

The Star

As you can see, it isn’t a single, six pointed star instead of two three-pointed stars. I didn’t added them because they look good; I added them because they are the geometric representation of the Three Virtues instead of literally place the iconic logo.

The White Star = Peace and the Mata Nui (Great Spirit)
The Red Star = Courage and the Red Star

If you mix them up, the result is a six-pointed star.

The idea means that three-pointed stars are the geometric representation of the Three Virtues

The White Star means “Unity, Duty, and Destiny”, but also it means the Peace (the Principle of Ko-Koro)

The Red Star means the Courage (Principle of Ta-Koro)

If you mix them up, you have a six-pointed star

All six colors having to be represented does make it a little muddled by necessity, but overall I really like it: especially the two star designs in the center.

I realllly love the look of Okoto’s flag here. Reminds me a little of Kosovo’s (I think their names being kinda similar also lends to that). Bara Magna’s is also good, but I feel like it could just be a biiit busier: maybe some sort of colors/designs on the top and bottom edges?
