From Great Victories, Mighty Heroes arise, MEET THE TOA NUVA (Help With the Weapons lol)

I finally finished the base of the Toa Nuva, changed the masks a bit and I’m still working on the new torso texture, but I’m a bit lost on how to adapt their weapons as minifigures.

Ooh! They look really good! The Praetorian Guard armor works surprisingly well for the Nuva.

Wow! These guys are…

…Really hard to see. I can tell that the legs are the same to the previous versions, but that’s about it. I thought you would’ve changed up the decals some given the Nuva variants generally only share a torso in common with their prior iterations.

I only Changed the Torso with the Armor as a Decal, The Legs are the Same as the Mata, since i think thats perfect to define the Style, also i dont think the new legs can translate better, Since the Mata Legs are just 5 Main Forms, and changing them into the Nuva it will have to be 6 or 7 more Shapes, i just like to keep it simple

The render for the Toa Nuva is terrific and looking nice. Say will you do Terridax next?

No, I will be doing the Matoran, then the Turaga, and then Takanuva with the Rakshi, and then Makuta Teridax

I’d do ninjago-esqe weapons for them, just getting the general shape of the weapons, detail wouldn’t be appropriate at this scale.

Spent a few minutes flipping through my collection of minifig tools to see what ideas i could come up with. Sorted by how well i think they work.

Onua:

Onua gave me the hardest time. His weapons are just so weird. This is what i came up with, but none of them really works.

Pohatu:

Pohatu was alo really hard. I came up with one idea that’s really small, one that’s really big, and one that’s not quite right. I’d go with the small one, myself.

Tahu:

I had many ideas for Tahu, but none of them really felt quite right.

Gali:

Gali was one of the few i had an idea for right away. Unfortunately, i could only find one axe half, and it is broken :sob: ! Hopefully still illustrates the point. I also stumbled upon another idea i think works really well.

Kopaka:

Using some pieces from the ninjago golden nunchuks from crystalized. A bit unorthodox, but i like it. And of course, the shield was obvious.

Lewa:

Sure, it’s cliche as can be, but i think the standard minifig katana is perfect for lewa. I also thought the meat cleaver piece works well.
