A non canon addition to my Pocket Voodoo island. Think of this as a cross over moc, like how Lego magazine would crossover Lego themes sometimes.
A human explorer from a distant star has found himself stranded on Voodoo island. With the Last functioning machine in his arsenal, the Frontier Strider, he sets forth into this wonderous new world of Bionicle. He is accosted by the mechanical beasts of the island, the Rahi, before being saved by a Toa. He now co-habitats with the peaceful Tohunga of the island, while searching to find a way home.
The inspiration behind this moc came from fiddling with the Technic Man chair. I wanted to build a mech for my Technic Man figure, so he could interact with the Bionicle world. I wanted to use Slizer limbs specifically because I think they pair very well with the base Technic ascetic. I always thought that Slizer and early Bionicle parts could be used to expand the possibilities of technic, and this is a good example of that. I also used some System parts to add more shape to the chair, and to make a little platform for the pilot to rest his feet on. I also used some Life on Mars elements for the control panel.
